Method of forecasting the delay dispersion in transmission of voice data

Existing methods of traffic forecasting in IP networks were reviewed. The method of jitter forecasting based on singular spectrum analysis of time series is proposed. The criteria for accuracy evaluation are determined. The forecasting accuracy of the proposed method was compared with the forecasting based on ARIMA model for fixed and mobile networks.
